Department of Urban Planning and Building Consultancy

The Urban Planning and Building Consultancy department deals with urban development and transport concepts, urban planning designs and the preparation of development plans. It prepares design drafts for streets and squares as well as the conception and signposting of special paths and routes in and around Rodgau.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Public participation - voluntary participation formats and statutory planning procedures
• Legally binding development plans
• Participation in the creation of the regional land use plan
• Development of urban development concepts
• Transport planning and development of mobility and transport concepts
• Advice for prospective builders
• Submission of comments on building applications to the district building authority
• Implementation of urban development support programmes:
  • Urban redevelopment in Dudenhofen
• Realisation Rodgau West
• Biotope network and species protection

Public participation - Weiskirchen development plan no. 30 "Hauptstraße - Schillerstraße"

On 26 May 2025, the municipal council of the City of Rodgau approved the draft of the development plan Weiskirchen No. 30 "Hauptstraße - Schillerstraße" and decided to publish it in accordance with Section 3 (2) BauGB in conjunction with Section 13 a BauGB. In accordance with Section 3 (2) sentence 2 BauGB, the contents of this announcement and the documents to be published in accordance with Section 3 (2) sentence 1 BauGB are also posted on the Internet.
