Traffic obstruction: Kerb in Weiskirchen

The Kerb festival takes place around the church on Hauptstraße. The festival area will be closed to traffic from Thursday 30 July up to and including Wednesday 5 August. Diversions are signposted and run via Lortzingstraße, Mozartstraße, Falltorstraße and Hainhäuserstraße, as well as Rödernweg. Residents are asked to take note in advance of any additional no-stopping zones that have been announced. Bahnhofstraße will be closed to traffic from house number 6 to the underground car park entrance at house number 13 from 9.00 am on Friday 31 July until 1.00 pm on Wednesday 5 August. The diversion runs via Häuser Weg and is signposted. Due to the Kerb festival, there will be a diversion for the OF-40 bus route. From Thursday 30 July at approximately 8.00 am up to and including Wednesday 5 August at approximately 1.00 pm, the OF-40 city bus will not serve the ‘Kirchplatz’ and ‘Bahnhofstraße’ stops. Replacement stops have been set up on ‘Falltorstraße’ and ‘Hainhäuser Straße’. Due to the existing diversion in the area of Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, the ‘Goetheplatz’ and ‘Waldstraße’ stops will also continue to be bypassed. An alternative stop has been set up at the junction of Udenhoutstraße and Hauptstraße for the “Waldstraße” stop. The OF-85 service is also affected by the closure. A separate announcement will be made regarding this.
