Artists of the exhibition
In January, there will be two guided tours through the current exhibition "Petrichor" in the Rodgau Gallery. The artists Diane Preyer and Nadine Röther and the artists Norman Hildebrandt and Zeljko Vidovic will be showing their works. Röther's objects sometimes flow out of the wall or show small worlds like chambers of wonders, while Hildebrandt's black and white pictures look like silhouettes but are delicately painted with ink. The unconventional hanging of Vidovic's unframed pictures alone makes you take a closer look at the figures depicted. Diane Preyer's objects, which play with perspectives, magically draw the viewer into hidden worlds.
Two guided tours
Visitors can find out more about this on Wednesday, 7 January, at 18:00 at "Kunst mit Vieren - Winno Sahm führt durch die aktuelle Ausstellung der Rodgau-Galerie" and on Sunday, 11 January, at 14:00 at the guided tour by art historian Hortense Pisano from Frankfurt. She works as an independent curator and exhibition organiser for the Kunsthalle Mannheim, among others. Winno Sahm has over 40 years of experience in guiding art tours, including through Frankfurt's Städel. The views of the two guides will be different in each case and certainly different from those of the participants. At best, you will attend both events and learn how different perception can be and how diverse the focus can be in art. Both tours are free of charge. The gallery at Nieuwpoorter Straße 90 is open until 14 January on Wednesdays (except Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve) from 18:00 to 21:00 and Sundays from 14:00 to 18:00. Admission is free.
