  • Service description

    Wastewater charges and wastewater contributions are levied on the basis of municipal statutes. The amount varies locally.

    With the wastewater contribution , you as the property owner pay a one-off share of the costs for the construction or improvement of the overall facilities of the municipality or the wastewater association.

    The wastewater charge is payable on an ongoing basis for the service provided (discharge and treatment of wastewater). It relates to the costs for the disposal of wastewater and rainwater.

    There are volume charges and basic charges.
    The yardstick for the volume charge is drinking water consumption. If the wastewater charge is split into a wastewater charge and a rainwater charge in accordance with the articles of association, the rainwater charge is essentially calculated according to the sealed property area.
