17th Rodgau Senior Citizens’ Day
As is traditional, the “17th Rodgau Senior Citizens’ Day” will take place this year on the last Sunday in August, under the motto “Rodgau – my town! – this is where I want to grow old”. On 30 August, from1100 to 1700, a wide range of clubs, associations, companies and institutions will once again be showcasing their work in and around Jügesheim Town Hall, and visitors will be able to find out about health, leisure and other topics. The programme is so colourful and varied, and what the exhibitors have to offer is so diverse and interesting – just like Rodgau’s senior citizens themselves.
This year, restaurateur and caterer Jürgen Herr (who, amongst other things, owns the ‘Journal’ restaurant in Jügesheim) will be looking after the visitors’ catering needs, and many a guest will once again find it hard to choose from the Dudenhöfer Landfrauen’s extensive cake buffet. The band “Musikzug Niederissigheim e.V.” and the musician “Big-T” will ensure a great atmosphere, alongside the well-known fashion show by “Modemobil” and “Lofty” wigs.
The town of Rodgau warmly invites all interested residents to this open-air event. Once again this year, the Town of Rodgau’s Senior Citizens’ Advice Service is offering a shuttle bus service provided by the Mühlheim-based bus company ‘Mühlenstadt-Reisen’ for Rodgau Senior Citizens’ Day. The Senior Citizens’ Advice Service would like to take this opportunity to thank Sparkasse Langen-Seligenstadt for its kind support.
