What?

Anniversaries:

From the age of 80, you will receive a congratulations card from the city council.
On reaching the age of 90, 95, 100 and then every further year of life: if the response is positive, certificates from the city and state, birthday cards from the city and district, and a gift from the city are presented by a member of the municipal council.
If a visit or a certificate is desired despite an information block, the jubilarians are welcome to contact Department 1 for further organisation.

Marriage anniversaries:

Golden wedding anniversary (50 years)
Diamond wedding anniversary (60 years)
Iron wedding anniversary (65 years)
Copper wedding (70 years)
If the feedback is positive, certificates from the city, district and state as well as a gift are presented.

You don't want a visit, a card/certificate or similar?

Then you must apply for a transmission block for each person at the Citizens' Service Centre of the City of Rodgau.

Service description
The Hessian Minister-President congratulates those celebrating their 50th, 60th, 65th, 70th and 75th wedding anniversaries upon request with a certificate of congratulations on the following anniversaries:

50th , 60th, 65th, 70th and 75th wedding anniversaries, as well as on
90th, 95th, 100th and every other birthday .

On the 65th, 70th and 75th wedding anniversaries, as well as on the 100th, 105th and every other birthday, the Federal President will also honour the person at the request of the municipality of residence.

Which documents are required?
No further documents are required to apply for the certificates. If the transfer of data has not been objected to (transfer block according to § 50 Para. 5 BMG) or if there is an information block according to § 51 BMG, the municipality of residence will issue the certificates itself on request or request them from the Hessian State Chancellery.

The date of the civil marriage or the completion of the respective year of life is decisive for the honour. Those to be honoured must be resident in Hesse. Marriage anniversaries may not be permanently separated.
