  • Service description

    • If you wish to organise an assembly, you must notify the competent authority at least 48 hours before the event is announced.
    • Once your notification has been received by the competent authority, it will be forwarded to the local regulatory authority responsible for the place of assembly, to the police and, if necessary, to other authorities to be involved. These authorities involved can then comment on your planned assembly.
    • If required by the nature and scope of the assembly, cooperation talks will be held in advance with the authorities involved (police, public order offices) regarding the organisation and conduct of the assembly.
  • Legal basis

  • What else should I know?

    • The competent authority may, following co-operation discussions with other authorities involved, impose a restriction on the assembly or issue a ban on assembly if the assembly is likely to pose a threat to public safety or order that justifies these measures.
    • A decision must be issued on this, which can be contested before the administrative court.
