Department 3 is mainly concerned with money - with the municipal finances of the town of Rodgau and everything that goes with it, but also with the bathing pleasure of the lido. The allocation of tasks is subdivided into the Finance, Treasury and Control Management departments. In addition to controlling, the Control Management department is also responsible for collecting taxes (trade tax, property tax, dog tax and gambling tax).

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Central responsibility and control/management of municipal finances and investment management, including investment reports (City of Rodgau Group: in particular Stadtwerke Rodgau, Stadtwerke Rodgau Energie GmbH, Energieversorgung Rodau and the social centre)
  • Preparation and implementation of the budget and preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements
  • Business and financial accounting
  • Controlling and reporting
  • Collection of taxes
