Participants on the vhs course Ro 1.10.03 will discover the fascinating world of mushrooms on a walk through the woods. The walk will take place on Saturday, 3 October, from 11.00 am to 3.45 pm. A mushroom expert will provide information on the life cycles of mushrooms and explain the various specimens found directly at their locations. Following the walk, the mushrooms found will be discussed as a group. This will provide an opportunity to ask individual questions and exchange practical tips on mushroom foraging. The meeting point is the forest recreation centre in Dudenhofen on the Gänsbrüh. Those interested should bring a small basket (no plastic bags) and a knife if required. Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended. Course fees can be found on the website or in the vhs programme booklet.
