The vhs course R0.05.01.09 focuses on how a digital idea can be turned into a real 3D object. The course runs over two Saturdays and starts on 17 October. It takes place from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at the Dudenhofen Youth Centre, Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße 8. Participants will receive a hands-on introduction to the basics of 3D printing and computer-aided design (CAD). Topics covered include how 3D printing works, which printing processes and materials are available, and how to create simple models on the computer and prepare them for printing. Using the Fusion 360 software, participants will also learn how to bring their own ideas to life on the computer. In this way, participants will learn, step by step, the process from design to the finished 3D print. The course is also suitable for beginners who wish to gain their first experience in this field.
