Host of the certificate presentation ceremony
Following the conclusion of the intensive examination period in early summer and the smooth transition of the junior staff into their new permanent roles, the town of Rodgau is taking stock with a celebratory event: in June, the local authority was the proud host of this year’s graduation ceremony for the Hessian Academy of Public Administration’s Frankfurt region. More than 250 graduates from the vocational training programmes for administrative assistants, the middle-level administrative service and prospective administrative specialists celebrated their successful graduation in the packed Dudenhofen Community Centre. This time-honoured ceremony is hosted each year by a different training local authority in the region. Alongside the Director of the Administrative Academy, Beatrix Bunse, and the First Deputy District Administrator of the Offenbach district, Carsten Müller, Patrick Sahm, Head of the Recruitment and Development Department, also congratulated the newly qualified professionals on behalf of the town of Rodgau.
Three successful female graduates
There was great joy within the Rodgau local authority over its own young talent: three of the council’s trainees – Claudia Haase, Pia Held and Tijana Jovanic – have successfully passed their exams to become administrative assistants. A particular highlight for the host local authority was that Pia Held was recognised as top of her class. She was also given the honour of delivering the speech on behalf of all 250 graduates, in which she reflected on the challenges and milestones of the past years of training. Mayor Max Breitenbach, Deputy Mayor Janika Martin, Head of Human Resources Jürgen Stemmler, Department Head Patrick Sahm and trainer Constanze Blaha congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of the course. They wished the three graduates from Rodgau every success in their future personal and professional lives in the civil service.
