This year, the Rodgau Advent Market is opening its doors with a new concept. Organised by the Agency for Economic Development and City Marketing, the centre of Jügesheim – around the town hall and church – will be aglow with pre-Christmas splendour from Friday 27 November to Sunday 29 November. The market will therefore run for three days, and the opening hours have also been adjusted: on Friday and Saturday, the Advent market will be open from 4 pm to 10 pm, and on Sunday, the first Sunday of Advent, from 12 noon to 6 pm. However, this will in no way detract from the cosy atmosphere and winter cheer. On the contrary, to expand the range of activities on offer, more attention will be given to the popular craft market, and visitors can also look forward to new stalls and activities in the outdoor area. Market traders, fairground operators and amateur artists interested in taking part can register for the Advent market from Monday 14 September. The Agency for Economic Development and City Marketing will provide details of the exact registration process in the press and on the City of Rodgau’s website over the next few days.
