Opinion wanted: New barometer of public sentiment for Rodgau

Satisfaction and public opinion

How satisfied are the people of Rodgau? Where are things going well, and where does the public feel there is room for improvement? With a new opinion poll on the town’s participation platform, the Town of Rodgau aims to regularly gauge public opinion on important issues affecting daily life. The survey covers, amongst other things, the general quality of life and sense of safety in Rodgau, access to green spaces and recreational areas, the cleanliness and upkeep of public spaces, and satisfaction with municipal services.

Survey

We’ve deliberately kept participation simple, and it only takes around two minutes. The individual topics can be rated on a scale from ‘very poor’ to ‘very good’. Anyone wishing to explain their assessment in more detail can also add their own comments, remarks or experiences using the ‘Tell us more’ field. The sentiment barometer is designed as an ongoing survey. The aim is to provide a picture, over a longer period of time, of how the local authority, public services and various aspects of life in Rodgau are perceived.

Results

The results provide the town with further insight into which issues are considered particularly relevant by the public and where there may be a need for action or further discussion. The findings will also be presented to Mayor Breitenbach, will be taken into account in further deliberations and may, where appropriate, be addressed in subsequent public engagement initiatives. The sentiment barometer can be found directly on the homepage of the participation platform at rodgau.govocal.com and can be accessed there at any time. In addition, visitors to the platform are regularly reminded of the opportunity to participate via a pop-up window. Anyone interested is invited to take part and share their views.
