The internet offers many opportunities, but it also carries risks. An information session will therefore take place on 7 October from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm, where those interested can learn how to navigate the digital world safely. The session will explain, in simple terms, how to recognise potential dangers at an early stage and deal with them appropriately in everyday life. The event is aimed at anyone who wants to be safer whilst browsing, shopping and communicating online. Among other things, internet expert Nicole Will will demonstrate how to spot fake online marketplaces and phishing emails, and how to protect personal data. In addition, participants will receive practical tips on how to distinguish legitimate online offers from dubious ones and how to handle their own data more responsibly. The event will take place at the Family Centre, Alter Weg 63 F. Registration must be completed via the online form on the Rodgau town website www.rodgau.de by 2 October. The event is free of charge.
