Play: ‘Prevention, Protection, Advice’

Safety guidance presented with a touch of humour

This entertaining educational programme is aimed particularly at older residents and explains in a clear and accessible way how to protect oneself effectively against con artists, thieves and other criminals. To this end, the ‘Rossdörfer Spätlese’ senior citizens’ theatre group will be presenting a number of humorous yet informative sketches on current scams on Thursday 12 November from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm in the City Council Chamber at Hintergasse 15.

From prank calls to fake police officers

The programme features typical scenarios such as fraudulent tradespeople, shock calls, calls from fake police officers, the classic WhatsApp message on a mobile phone, and the topic of vigilant neighbours. Between the individual sketches, the volunteer security advisers from the town of Rodgau explain the scams being portrayed, provide important background information and offer practical advice on how to respond. In this way, the dramatised scenes are complemented by clear facts and valuable tips for everyday life.

Free registration

The event forms part of the joint prevention work carried out by the Senior Citizens’ Advice Service and the volunteer safety advisers of the town of Rodgau, who are committed to improving safety and raising awareness in the everyday lives of older people.
