Robert Scheffner reads *Mimi the Tooth Fairy and the Wobbly Tooth*

Author and illustrator Robert Scheffner will be reading from his latest picture book, *Mimi the Tooth Fairy and the Wobbly Tooth*, at the Nieder-Roden Municipal Library on Tuesday 20 October at 3.30 pm. The event is suitable for children aged 4 and over. ‘Mimi the Tooth Fairy and the Wobbly Tooth’ is an enchanting picture book about being different, finding self-confidence and the magic of tooth fairies. It is a story that inspires courage and shows that everyone has their own magic. Like the other tooth fairies, Mimi lives in Tooth Fairy Land. But she is different from the other fairies: she gets distracted easily and sometimes even forgets her tasks. When a new assignment arrives, Mimi finally wants to show what she’s made of. Brave and full of self-confidence, she sets off on an adventure. Her journey takes her into a dark forest full of mythical creatures and giants. She soon realises that she and her tooth fairy magic are needed here. Following the reading, Robert Scheffner will be doing some painting and craft activities with the children. The author’s picture books can be purchased at the book stall in the Jügesheimer Bücherstube. Fans of all ages can take home a copy signed by the author. The event is taking place as part of the Leseland Hessen literature festival, with the kind support of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Research, Art and Culture, the Sparkassen Cultural Foundation of Hesse-Thuringia and hr2 Kultur. Admission is free, but registration is requested. Registrations can be made by telephone on 06106 693 1322, by email to buecherei@rodgau.de, or in person at the libraries in Nieder-Roden and Jügesheim.
