The community outreach team at the neighbourhood office invites you to the final neighbourhood meeting. It will take place on Monday 2 November at 6 pm at the Social Centre, Puiseauxplatz 3. Residents, as well as clubs and initiatives whose activities are centred in Nieder-Roden, are welcome to come along to find out more and exchange ideas. Between 2022 and 2026, the neighbourhood meeting provided an open platform every two months for discussion, networking and the joint development of ideas for community life in the neighbourhood. The final neighbourhood meeting will feature a review of the funding period and the work carried out by the GWA and the neighbourhood office in Nieder-Roden. There will also be an outlook for the coming years. Staff from the Urban Development Unit will give a presentation and answer questions on the topic of ‘social cohesion’. The aim of the neighbourhood meetings was to discuss current issues with local residents, launch new projects and support and sustain existing initiatives and projects. The Nieder-Roden Neighbourhood Office can be contacted by telephone on 693-1251 or -1250, or by email at gemeinwesenarbeit@rodgau.de.
