The next Babbel Café session has been confirmed: Wednesday 14 October, at the Family Centre, Alter Weg 63 F, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Over coffee and cake, there’ll be a chance for a cosy chat and to meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere. The Babbel Café brings people together and creates a space for conversation, making new contacts and catching up with old friends. Various organisations linked to the Family Centre will also be on hand to chat. Those taking part include the ‘Meet & Strick’ group, the international reading café, the VdK, and staff from the senior citizens’ advice service and community care. The event is open to all senior citizens who enjoy meeting others and having a chat. No booking is required. Participation is free of charge.
