From Friday 27 November to Sunday 29 November, the town of Rodgau is hosting the ‘Rodgau Advent Market’ around the town hall and St Nicholas’ Church. As a result, Vorder- and Hintergasse, as well as Kirchgasse, will be subject to traffic restrictions and limitations on parking in public spaces. In Hintergasse, there will be significant restrictions on on-street parking throughout the five days of the market. This applies in particular to the public parking spaces on Rathausplatz, where a strict no-stopping zone will be in force from 12 noon on Thursday 26 November. As was the case last year, the Saturday morning weekly market will be relocated to the section between the junction with Schwesternstraße and Rodgau Passage. Hintergasse will therefore be completely closed to traffic in this section on Saturday between 6 am and 2 pm. However, access to Rodgau Passage from the direction of Weiskircher Straße will remain possible. Important: Parking spaces in this area will be subject to a strict no-stopping order from 8.00 pm on 27 November to ensure that the weekly market stalls can access the area unhindered on Saturday morning. Vordergasse will be closed to through traffic in the section between the entrance to the Town Hall underground car park and the junction with Kirchgasse at the following times: from Saturday, 28 November, at 12 noon, until Sunday, 29 November, at 10 pm. The parking spaces along this section of Vordergasse will also be closed or unavailable during the periods mentioned. Kirchgasse will be completely closed to through traffic from 8.00 am on Thursday 26 November until 12.00 noon on Monday 30 November. Access to the residential groups at Haus Emmanuel and to Vordergasse 20 will be maintained; however, it is recommended that you use Konrad-Kappler-Straße for both arrival and departure. Residents are asked to make alternative arrangements during the times mentioned to avoid inconvenience to themselves, visitors and customers. In this regard, particular attention is drawn to the free public car parks on Mühlstraße and on Ostring. The weekly market in Jügesheim on Saturday 28 November will therefore not take place on Rathausplatz, but in Hintergasse from 8 am to 1 pm.
