Information series: Strength and composure - mastering challenging situations

Supporting a person with dementia quickly becomes a constant challenge and burden. The reaction to stressful life situations varies greatly. Some people simply shrug off crises, others feel very overwhelmed. A lecture on this topic will take place on Wednesday, 20 May, from 18:00 to 20:00 in the City Council Meeting Room, Town Hall, Hintergasse 15. Martina Geßner, a qualified social education worker, burnout prevention counsellor and mindfulness coach, will give an insight into how to strengthen your own resilience in crises. Well-developed resilience is a helpful support in difficult phases of life. The lecture is free of charge and no registration is required. Questions about the event can be answered by Tina Taffet, Senior Counselling Service, telephone 06106 693-1233.
