Cultural Promotion Prize 2026 - City of Rodgau honours young talents

Until 31 August 2026, members of the public, as well as cultural initiatives, associations and municipal bodies, may submit nominations for the Cultural Promotion Award. Each year, alternating with the Culture Prize, the town awards the Cultural Promotion Award to young artists. By awarding this prize, the town of Rodgau supports artists working in the visual arts, literature, the performing arts or music who demonstrate exceptional artistic talent and who are either still in training or at the start of their careers. The prize is awarded to individuals or groups who are resident in Rodgau or where their main place of work is located. The Cultural Promotion Prize is, in principle, divisible and is currently endowed with a cash prize of 2,500 euros, intended to provide financial support to the prize winner(s) in their work and to give them a boost of motivation for their future endeavours. Nominations must be accompanied by a detailed written statement outlining the nominated individual or group, the achievement to be recognised and its impact on cultural life in the town of Rodgau, and should include supporting material where appropriate. The nomination must include the address or contact details of both the nominee and the nominator. Additional information such as a CV, a history of the organisation, documentation of previous artistic or cultural achievements, and the like, is also helpful. Nominations may be submitted to the Rodgau Town Council – Department of Culture, Sport and Volunteering, Steffen Reichenbach, Hintergasse 15, 63110 Rodgau, or by email to kultur@rodgau.de.
