Opening of the composting plant

The composting plant of Stadtwerke Rodgau, Blumenau 1a, will open its doors again on Rose Monday, 16 February. The team at the composting plant is looking forward to the coming season and will be available to the citizens of Rodgau from 2 pm on the opening day. At the opening, visitors will be greeted with a small spring greeting while stocks last. Private households can deliver green waste, grass cuttings, leaves and prunings (max. 8 cm diameter & 1 m length) in normal household quantities once a day free of charge. A registered rodgaucard is required for the delivery of green waste. This must be linked to a residual waste bin number. If you do not yet have a rodgaucard, please have your identity card ready. The rodgaucard will be issued directly on site on request. The collection of finished compost in normal household quantities is also possible as usual, please bring a suitable container. Larger quantities of green waste from private individuals or deliveries from businesses are generally subject to a charge. Payment is made on site by EC card only. The opening hours in the spring and summer months from opening until 31 October are Mondays and Fridays from 14:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 16:00. In the autumn and winter months, the composting facility is open from 1 November to 15 December on Mondays and Fridays from 2 pm to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm.
