Around 35,000 voters can decide on Sunday, 15 March, who will be elected to the Rodgau city council. Voting for the district council and the foreigners' advisory council will also take place on this day. Since 2 February and until Friday, 13 March, postal voting documents can be requested from the Rodgau Citizens' Service. Anyone wishing to use this option first needs a polling card, which can be applied for online at www.rodgau.de, in person at the Citizens' Service Centre or by email to wahlen@rodgau.de. The application must include the surname, first names, date of birth and address. When the election notification is sent to all eligible voters, which will be completed by 22 February, the postal vote application will also be included on the back of the notification. All information about the upcoming elections can be found on the city's website at www.rodgau.de/Wahlen2026. It can be translated into various languages and is partly written in plain language. Anyone who would like to have a look at the ballot papers can also find them at www.rodgau.de. In this way, voters can familiarise themselves with the candidates and the election procedure in advance.
