The intensive course on Saturday 4 September 2010 is aimed at slightly advanced beginners and, over five mornings, prepares participants to communicate effectively whilst on holiday in Italy. Led by Luisa Toppino-Hofsommer, the course features practical exercises ranging from greetings and giving directions to ordering in a restaurant. The textbook is *Viva le vacanze! Neu*, published by Hueber Verlag, ISBN 978-3-19-217243-4, starting from Lesson 7. The course takes place at the Christian-Zang-Haus, Room 1, Schillerstraße 27b. The sessions run from Monday to Friday, 17 to 21 August, from 09:30 to 12:30 each day. Course fees can be found on the website or in the vhs programme booklet.
