Under the slogan ‘Who has the tallest sunflower?’, Rodgau Municipal Library launched its sunflower competition in the spring. Many children took part and collected one of the more than one hundred sachets of sunflower seeds from the town libraries. A lot of time has passed since the seeds were sown; the children have tended to their sunflowers and watched them grow. The public library would like to remind everyone of the closing date: photos of the sunflowers, showing a clearly visible folding rule, can be sent to buecherei@rodgau.de until 30 August. The children with the five tallest sunflowers will each receive a book voucher. Anyone who has any questions about the competition is welcome to contact the municipal library.
