Children get creative at the Rodgau public library

After the summer holidays, the ‘Creative Time’ sessions for children aged 6 and over will start again. Once a month, on Friday afternoons, the children will be painting, doing crafts and making origami. The first session is on 28 August, and there are two time slots to choose from. The first group starts at 3.30 pm and the second at 4.45 pm. Crafts and painting support children’s development in a whole range of ways. On the one hand, they help develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination; on the other, such activities allow children to give free rein to their imagination and creativity, which has a positive effect on their cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills. Crafts and painting can also help children express their emotions and relieve stress. But above all, pottering about in a group is great fun. The programme is free of charge. As places are limited, please register in advance. Registrations can be made in person at the municipal libraries, by telephone on 06106 693 1322, or by email to buecherei@rodgau.de.
