The skittles team from the Rodgau Municipal Council’s staff sports group (BSG) is celebrating its cup victory and can look back on a highly successful 2025/2026 season. In the league campaign, the team comprising Oswin Subtil, Monika Gronewold, Günter Ullmann, Marina Macharski, Herbert Hahn and Daniel Schäfer secured an impressive third place. Their success was overshadowed by the tragic loss of their team-mate Stefan Müller, who passed away in the spring. In the individual competitions, Herbert Hahn shone, taking first place and the gold medal. Monika Gronewold became a title collector: she won gold in her age group, gold at the TOP tournament and silver at the Midnight Tournament with her playing partner. Well-prepared and fully motivated, the BSG is now looking ahead. Thanks to its new sponsor, Maingau Energie (Maingau+), the team will start the next season in new kits, ready to represent the town of Rodgau with pride once again.
