From Monday 24 August, Rodgau Municipal Utilities will begin work on the energy-efficiency refurbishment of the flat roof on the cemetery building at the Jügesheim Forest Cemetery. Significant leaks have been identified on the existing flat roof, meaning that urgent refurbishment is required to preserve the cemetery building in the long term and ensure safety. The works will take several weeks, so completion is expected by mid-November 2026, in line with the construction schedule. The works will, of course, be suspended whilst funeral services and burials are taking place. Rodgau Municipal Utilities will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum and kindly ask cemetery visitors for their understanding regarding this necessary maintenance work.
