With the start of May, the most beautiful time of the year begins again at Rodgau lido: from 1 May, the lido opens its gates daily from 08:00 to 20:00 for bathers, sun-seekers and those looking for relaxation. A special highlight awaits visitors on Saturday, 2 May.

A special highlight awaits visitors on Saturday, 2 May. From 2 pm, everyone is invited to the official opening event with a varied and diverse programme for young and old at the lido. Children in particular can look forward to numerous attractions. A bouncy castle, face painting and the painting of swimming bags provide fun, games and creative entertainment. The DLRG also offers exciting boat trips on the water. Delicious food and refreshing drinks will be provided by the new tenant of the lido bistro, Laguna Beach Club Strandbad Rodgau. The gastronomic offer is complemented by selected wines from Weinomat. The RCC and TG Nieder-Roden will also be showing off their dancing skills. Finally, the "House am See" music series with DJ Gary and DJ Alex Cipak will start at 5 p.m., inviting you to enjoy a relaxed end to the day right by the lake.
Restrictions due to construction work
However, the new lido season begins this year under special conditions. The new beach bistro is currently still under construction. As a result, there may be temporary restrictions in certain areas. Unfortunately, temporary construction noise, dust development and smaller cordoned-off areas on the sunbathing lawn cannot be completely avoided. The town of Rodgau asks for your understanding. At the same time, everything will be done to make the stay as pleasant as possible for guests. The construction work is an important step in the further upgrading of the lido and should ensure an even better quality of stay in future. Despite the ongoing construction work, catering for guests is guaranteed.
New tenant "Laguna Beach Club Strandbad Rodgau"
The new tenant "Laguna Beach Club Strandbad Rodgau", which will also sell from the new bistro building from 2027, will take over catering services in both the textile and naturist areas this season. For the time being, sales will be made from specially equipped huts. New this season: the lido bistro will also be a rodgaucard partner. In future, visitors to the "Laguna Beach Club Strandbad Rodgau" will be able to collect and redeem points - for example for a delicious ice cream or a cool drink on warm summer days. The rodgaucard can already be used as an admission ticket. If you have an annual pass or an 11-ticket, you can use it conveniently with the rodgaucard.
Feedback cards
Also new this year is an additional opportunity for feedback on visits to the lido. In future, the lifeguards and the new tenant's stands will be handing out small feedback cards with contact details for suggestions, praise and criticism. Guests can easily pass on their comments via the email address provided and receive feedback the next working day. At the same time, this procedure helps to ensure that the lifeguards can concentrate fully on water safety and the associated tasks. So: pack your towel, take your rodgaucard - digital or physical - with you and enjoy the sunny days at the lido. The town of Rodgau is looking forward to a successful swimming season and many visitors to the lido.
