Back in February, the colleagues from the family centre and Kitaeinstieg met with Daniela Kambor from "mykidssafe" and her team at the family centre. They lugged a lot of heavy boxes, set up long packing stations and spent a day putting together the contents. The result is the lovingly packed new baby information boxes. Young parents will not only find important information about their current life situation in these boxes, but also regional offers for parents and babies. The boxes also contain vouchers and small welcome gifts from local and regional businesses and companies. After last year's great success, First City Councillor Janika Martin is delighted to continue her favourite project and show her appreciation and recognition to young parents. "The Baby Info Box not only contains a wide range of guides, contact addresses and information flyers, but also shows that Rodgau has a lot to offer young families," says First City Councillor Martin. The many positive responses from young parents over the past year not only express their delight at the contents of the boxes, but also rate the methods of handing them over as successful and free of complications: after the birth of their child, parents receive a "welcome letter" from the town with a voucher for a baby information box. This can be redeemed at four different locations in Rodgau, from Weiskirchen (nursery) to Jügesheim (municipal library and family centre) to Nieder-Roden (municipal library) and then it's time to unpack and enjoy: Unpack and enjoy.
