Community work offers mothers and fathers with no income a first aid course for children. This is organised by the German Red Cross District Association Offenbach, Social Services Division Training Section. Thorsten Euler will train participants in the correct measures to take in the event of a child emergency. This includes resuscitation measures on baby and child dummies, which will also be practised, as well as treatment in the event of dangerous bleeding. Particular sources of danger for children will be discussed and preventative measures will be pointed out so that accidents can be avoided. The seminar will take place on Friday, 22 May, at the Social Centre, Puiseauxplatz, in room 5, from 10:00 to 14:00, with two short breaks for refreshments in between. Registration by 8 May at gemeinwesenarbeit@rodgau.de is mandatory, as participation is limited. The seminar is free of charge for participants.
