Digital meter reading campaign
The year is slowly coming to an end and with it the billing of water and sewerage charges in the districts of Weiskirchen, Hainhausen, Jügesheim and Dudenhofen by Stadtwerke Rodgau is approaching. The digital meter reading campaign starts on Friday, 21 November. As part of this campaign, Stadtwerke Rodgau will be sending e-mails to all consumption points that consented to the use of their e-mail address when their meters were read last year. Citizens can easily submit their meter readings online via an inserted link. The data is of course transmitted in encrypted form.
Dispatch of the meter reading card
Anyone who has not reported their meter reading online by Sunday, 30 November and all those citizens who have not expressly consented to the use of their email address will receive their meter reading card by post from Monday, 1 December. As in the previous year, the meter reading cards are labelled with a QR code. By scanning the QR code, the current meter reading can be conveniently transmitted by 31 December. Alternatively, it is possible to return the meter reading cards postage free. Of course, the meter readings can also be communicated as usual during the entire meter reading campaign via email to kundenservice@stadtwerke-rodgau.de or by telephone on 06106 8296-0. All meter readings should be reported by 31 December. Meter readings from private garden or wastewater meters must also be reported to the municipal utilities.
Meter readings reported in the new year
Meter readings after the end of the year are not taken into account for the annual consumption bill and in this case are estimated automatically. As part of the changeover to radio water meters, around 70 per cent of the main water meters have already been replaced with radio water meters. The remote reading of the radio water meters takes place on 31 December.
