Annual financial statements

The annual accounts summarise the financial records for a financial year and document the financial position of the local authority as well as the results of its administrative activities. The annual accounts are the key financial reporting tool in double-entry accounting and serve, in particular, as a statement of the implementation of the budget.

The purpose of the annual accounts is to present a true and fair view of the municipal administration’s liabilities, assets, profit or loss and financial position.
