Internships & more
Compulsory internships during training or studies
Are you studying or completing an apprenticeship and are required by your training/school/study or examination regulations to complete a compulsory internship in the areas of social services (childcare centres), administration or architecture/civil engineering/urban and transport planning during your training/study? Then why not get to know the town of Rodgau during your internship? Combine the specialist knowledge you have learnt in theory with practical experience in a modern municipal administration.
Student internship
A student internship is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of one of the many professional fields in the city of Rodgau and to take a look behind the scenes of a modern administration. It is possible up to year 12. During the internship, we will be happy to introduce you to the various apprenticeships offered by the town of Rodgau. Internships are generally possible in the day-care centres, in the administration and in the building yard.
Girls' Day and Boys' Day
On Girls' and Boys' Day, the city of Rodgau opens its doors to young people who want to get to know professions that are traditionally associated with the opposite sex. Girls gain exciting insights into technical and scientific professions, while boys explore social and educational fields of work. This initiative promotes equal opportunities and helps young people to discover their strengths - regardless of gender stereotypes. Join us for a day full of new experiences and opportunities for your future!
Working in the daycare centre
You are studying a socio-educational programme (e.g. educational science, childhood education, social work, childhood studies, etc.) and would like to gain valuable practical experience in a daycare centre during your studies in order to apply the knowledge you have acquired directly. In addition to gaining exciting insights into the professional world, you can make important contacts, develop your skills and optimally prepare yourself for your future career entry.
How do I apply for it?
