Care and dementia
We can also offer advice and assistance on the subject of care and dementia. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Care and support situations can be better managed if carers are informed about the course of the disease, how to deal with people with dementia, treatment options and the legal basis.
Dementia is one of the most common and most serious psychiatric illnesses in old age. In Germany, 1.7 million people currently suffer from dementia, and the trend is rising with increasing age. Around 60% of people with dementia live in private households. Caring relatives are exposed to particular stress due to the challenging behaviour of those in need of care.
