Rodgau Gallery

The Rodgau Gallery in the Rektor-Geissler-Haus in Dudenhofen regularly hosts changing exhibitions by artists from different artistic disciplines on various themes. Highlights include

  • Vernissage
  • Partly talks with the exhibiting artists
  • Guided tours by the head of the cultural department Winno Sahm
  • Finissages

  • Wednesday from 6 pm to 9 pm
  • Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm

Current exhibition 'Whirlwind in the living room' by Anja Flügel and Hagga Bühler

"Wirbelsturm im Wohnzimmer" is a wild dialogue between the uncompromising pictorial worlds of Anja Flügel (Lohr a. Main) and the Spessart Pop wooden sculptures by Hagga Bühler (Ffm, Hafenlohr). Anja Flügel asserts herself as a rock in the surf of the confusion of the zeitgeist. Her dark and shrill series "Abysses and Glimpses of Light" questions old dogmas. Hagga Bühler makes the old lady of wood sculpture compatible with urban pop art and punk with the "Queens of the illusory era". His working motto is: "Fake triviality and strike intellectually."

YouthART

At Rodgauer JugendART, young individual artists from the surrounding area and art classes from Rodgau and other secondary schools show their works and projects. Highlights include

The event always lasts two days and is organised every year by the Department of Culture, Sport and Volunteering in cooperation with the staff of the youth centre in Dudenhofen.

RODGAU ART 25

The art exhibition RODGAU ART offers paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, photographs, graphics and much more by regional and national artists. Highlights include

  • Workshop talks with artists
  • Guided tours by the head of the cultural department Winno Sahm
  • Exhibition opening with music

The next RODGAU ART 25 will take place from 24 to 26 October 2025 in the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden 

  • Friday from 7 pm
  • Saturday from 2 pm to 7 pm
  • Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm

Registration for exhibitors costs €40. Registration for 2025 is already complete.

Easter market

At the Easter market, the town of Rodgau gives hobby artists, self-help groups and full-time artists from Rodgau and the surrounding area the opportunity to present their artistic work in the form of an Easter market.

The next Easter market is from 28 February to 1 March 2026.
