Breastfeeding & Co Café

At the "Breastfeeding & Co. Café" you have the opportunity to meet other mums and dads with babies and toddlers in the morning.

  • You can chat and exchange experiences in a cosy atmosphere over coffee, tea and snacks
  • Once a month, midwife Christiane Anfang comes to the café to answer questions
  • We also invite other specialists on family-related topics as required
  • Every Wednesday from 9 to 11 am


Papa Connection

Networking, understanding, advancing.

The group, Papa Connection, offers an open atmosphere for dialogue between fathers

  • All topics are welcome, from family matters and everyday challenges to casual conversations
  • Make contacts, connect and enrich each other
  • The meetings are accompanied by Matthias Gaschot (social pedagogue and father)
  • Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7 to 9 pm


Meet & Knit

We knit and crochet together in a relaxed atmosphere at the family centre

  • Everyone brings their own crochet or knitting project
  • We chat, laugh and give each other tips on all aspects of the topic
  • Whether young or "old", with experience or "new to the area" - everyone is welcome
  • From 11 November, starting every fortnight on Tuesdays from 14:30 to 17:30


Playgroups

In the various playgroup formats, children can play to their heart's content and make their first friends. Parents have time to exchange ideas, socialise and share experiences with each other.

Our educational team enriches the meeting place with creative play, singing and exercise programmes.

  • Tuesday from 3 to 4 pm

Open playgroups

In our playroom there is a colourful selection of varied and high-quality play material for babies and toddlers. The little ones can play to their heart's content, try out new things and make their first friends. Meanwhile, parents have time to chat, socialise and benefit from the experiences of others in a relaxed atmosphere.

  • Monday from 15:30 to 16:30
  • Friday from 9:30 to 11 am

You can get to know new games with your child, experience creative activities, pick up ideas and socialise in a friendly atmosphere.

Guided playgroups

  • Thursday from 9 to 10 am (children aged 6 to 14 months)
  • Thursday from 10:15 to 11:15 am (children aged 14 to 24 months)

Family centre in the network of municipal daycare centres

Daycare centre 7 in Hainhausen, daycare centre 10 (Schlotterstein Castle) and daycare centre 11, in the same building as the family centre, are part of the family centre network. This means that some events also take place on their premises. The Family Centre also consults with parents in these daycare centres about their needs and current topics in order to pick up on current trends and develop new services.
