Biita - Singer-Songwriter

Bita is the new project of singer-songwriter Lisa Houdei, formerly known as LéPonds. A unique force in experimental folk, Houdei has released four independent albums and toured nationally with artists such as Jeff Tweedy, Natalie Prass and Black Belt Eagle Scout, as well as longtime collaborator Haley Heynderickx.
Growing up in a bicultural Persian household, music and singing found Biita at an early age. At that young age, she chose the guitar as her instrument and learnt to play in her own intuitive way - now she has a style all her own. The songs take unexpected twists and turns, so heartwarming.
Officially based in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles, now in Woodstock, NY, she returns under a new moniker, along with her most powerful work to date.
