A terrific guitar duo: Ali Neander & Tilmann Höhn

"If there was such a thing as an award for the most versatile guitarist, then I would give it to Ali Neander," says guitarist Tilmann Höhn about his colleague, who is known far beyond Hesse thanks to the Rodgau Monotones and other projects, such as the jazz organ trio with singer Caro Trischler. He is a founding member of the band and has been a member of the cult rock band Rodgau Monotones for over 40 years. And Ali Neander says of Tilmann Höhn: "Guitars sometimes don't have it easy, but if they could choose, they would most likely choose Tilmann as their player." Tilman Höhn is the musical backbone of the bands "Hotel Bossa Nova" and the "Frankfurt City Blues Band" as well as a composer, jazz and concert guitarist. Together they want to conjure up unheard-of sounds from the various guitar models, sometimes romantic and cosmopolitan, sometimes jazzy and improvised and rocking and powerful.
