Wreath-laying ceremony on Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is an important part of the culture of remembrance for the dead and the victims of war and tyranny. The town of Rodgau invites you to a wreath-laying ceremony at the cemetery in Weiskirchen at 12 noon. Deputy Mayor Janika Martin will pay tribute to the dead together with those present.

For the first time this year, the usually traditional memorial service in the funeral hall will not take place at midday, but will instead be held at the town hall in the form of an exhibition starting at 3.30 pm and a discussion session at 5 pm on the theme ‘Fled, displaced – arrived?’.
