Café Caribe - Salsa pa'gozar!

Salsa for dancing and inspiring songs from Latin America - that's the message of Café Caribe. The new Frankfurt sextet around Uli Kratz (Salsa Verde) and singer Ferran Ferrando has been able to win over two familiar colleagues from the Latin scene, Conny Montiel on piano and Kick La Luna bassist Uli Pfeifer. Peruvian jazz flutist Néstor Benítez (Peru Salsa Allstar) and drummer Roland Henkel were also immediately inspired. The band's programme is based on classical salsa and presents their own songs in a fascinating Latin groove. Their shared love of Afro-Cuban rhythms and polyphonic singing brought them together, and now they delight every audience with their infectious joy of playing.
