Providing information to political parties and voter groups

  • Service description

    Parties, groups of voters and other organisers of election proposals may receive the following information on persons entitled to vote from the population register in the 6 months prior to an election in connection with parliamentary and local elections:

    • First names and surnames,
    • Doctoral degree,
    • Current address.

    If the person in question is deceased, this will be communicated.

    This data may only be used for advertising in an election or vote and must be deleted or destroyed no later than one month after the election or vote.

  • What fees are incurred?

    Fees are charged in accordance with section 425 of the administrative cost schedule of the Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Sport (HMdIS) in the currently valid version.

  • What deadlines do I have to observe?

    The information is only available in the 6 months before an election.

    This data may only be used for advertising in an election or vote and must be deleted or destroyed no later than one month after the election or vote.
