Waste: Disposal of hazardous waste (special waste)
Service description
The disposal of waste from private households, including problematic materials/pollutants, as well as disposal waste from other sources is the responsibility of the public waste management organisations (districts and independent cities).
Problematic substances are waste which, due to their material properties, may not be disposed of together with household waste as they can jeopardise health and/or have harmful effects on the environment.
Further regulations on problematic substances/pollutants are laid down in the individual waste disposal statutes and fee statutes.
These include information on waste fees, waste calendars (collection intervals) and existing collection and delivery systems (hazardous waste mobile, recycling centres).Procedure
