If a child is born in your institution, you must report the birth to the relevant registry office.

- The birth took place in your institution.

There are no fees.
What deadlines do I have to observe?
You must report the birth to the registry office responsible for the place of birth within one week. In the case of a stillbirth, the notification must be made no later than the third working day after the birth.

What else should I know?
The service only serves to fulfil the legal obligation to register. If the birth is notarised at the registry office, further proof is required.
