Service description
Every municipality in Hesse has a fire brigade. The mostly volunteer members of a volunteer fire service help people in emergency situations.

Are you interested in the emergency services? You don't need any previous experience. Simply contact the fire brigade in your municipality.

Procedure
If you would like to join a volunteer fire brigade, please contact your local fire brigade. You can find out the address, e-mail or telephone number from your municipality, on their website or newsletters or on the website of your fire brigade.
Prerequisites
To join the volunteer fire brigade, you must be at least 17 years old (if you are younger, you can join a youth fire brigade).
