Traffic space restriction - authorisation

Authorisation must be obtained for every measure that requires the restriction and special use of public traffic space.

If vehicle traffic is affected by the traffic space restriction, a traffic authority order for the traffic safety of the traffic space restriction must generally be obtained in addition to the authorisation of the special use of the road space used. A traffic sign plan must be submitted to the road traffic authority for the necessary traffic measures to be ordered by the road traffic authority, unless there is a suitable standard plan or the work is only of short duration and small scale and the work only has a minor impact on road traffic. The securing of road works is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the guidelines for the securing of road works (RSA).
