  • Service description

    • Pursuant to Section 33c of the Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act, proof must be provided for each installation site of gaming devices with the possibility of winning that it is suitable for this purpose. Such confirmation of suitability by the local competent authority is a prerequisite for the installation of gaming devices with the possibility of winning.

  • Procedure

    • Before installing gaming machines, a suitability licence for the installation site must be applied for.
    • The application must be made in writing.
    • When setting up in restaurants, the operator of the restaurant must have a restaurant licence.

  • Prerequisites

    According to Section 1 of the Gaming Ordinance, gaming devices with the possibility of winning may only be set up in rooms of pubs or restaurants where drinks and food can be consumed on the premises, accommodation establishments, amusement arcades and similar establishments as well as betting offices of licensed bookmakers.

    • In the event of a change of catering establishment operator, a new application must be submitted for the installation location.

    • Pursuant to Section 33c of the Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act, proof must be provided for each installation site of gaming devices with the possibility of winning that it is suitable for this purpose.
