Commercial events
Pilot phase
From 3 June to the end of January 2027, a pilot phase will start in which commercial offers can be published in the event calendar if they meet the criteria below.
Background
Up to now, only clubs, organisations and institutions have been able to register events. The events on offer should be geared towards the leisure and cultural interests of the general public. Purely commercial offers do not fully meet this idea.
Some events from commercial providers are located in the leisure and cultural sector and therefore overlap with the offers from clubs, organisations and institutions. These are to be included in the calendar of events on a trial basis during the pilot phase.
Criteria
The events must match the character of the event calendar.
The event
- is leisure-orientated and has a clearly public character
(e.g. concerts, informational fairs, cultural and educational events) - has a cultural, sociable component
(cultural, educational or public welfare aspects are recognisably pronounced) - is not just a product presentation
- does not have an exclusively sales/advertising character
(e.g. shop openings with an exclusively advertising purpose, pure product demonstrations/sales fairs without public information or cultural reference, doorstep events, party sales formats) - is not an exclusively closed event or an event for invited guests only.
- takes place within the city limits of Rodgau
Procedure
If you are interested in entering events on the above criteria in the calendar of events, please contact commercial organisers by email at kommunikation@rodgau.de .
Please include the following information in the e-mail:
- Organiser data
- Name
- address
- Telephone
- Legal form
- Authorised representatives
- Contact person
- Name
- Telephone
- E-mail address or e-mail addresses of the person(s) who will register events (up to 5 addresses possible)
After receiving the e-mail, the Communications and Public Relations department prepares everything else internally and then sends an e-mail explaining all the information for entering events.
The commercial organiser can then set up events independently and on his own responsibility in accordance with the criteria.
