The rodgaucard has reached another important milestone, as the mark of over 10,000 registered users has been passed. This milestone shows that the rodgaucard has become part of many people's everyday lives and is already being used in various areas of urban life. However, there are significantly more cards in circulation, as the number of registered users does not automatically correspond to the total number of cardholders. In many cases, the rodgaucard can also be used without registration. For example, it can be used to collect bonus points, as well as a permanent or 11-entry card at the Rodgau lido or as a reading card in the town libraries. For use at the recycling centre and the composting plant, however, a one-off allocation is required. Here, the rodgaucard is linked to the address and the residual waste bin number in order to provide proof of the waste fees paid. It is important to know that no data is stored on the rodgaucard itself. In the event of loss, there is no need to worry about the security of the data. Alternatively, at the recycling centre and the composting plant, you can still identify yourself as an authorised user with your ID card. Anyone wishing to use additional functions or manage their card(s) digitally can easily register at www.rodgaucard.de. All you need to do is provide an e-mail address and a personal password. Offline registration is also still available. The relevant form can be downloaded from the website and is also available in printed form from the town hall's citizen service centre and the customer service department of Stadtwerke Rodgau. "The 10,000 registered users mark is a strong signal for us," says the rodgaucard team. "It shows how widely the rodgaucard is already being used - both digitally and in analogue form." With its range of uses, the rodgaucard remains a central offer of the city of Rodgau - flexible to use and accessible to all citizens.
