The most frequent question is how the physical card and digital use on the smartphone relate to each other. For this reason, the city of Rodgau would like to summarise the most important information once again. The rodgauccard is generally available as a plastic card in physical form. It can also be used digitally on a smartphone via the RodauApp. Important: The physical card is always the basis. Only with an existing plastic card can the rodgaucard also be stored digitally in the app. Citizens are free to decide for themselves which version they want to use in everyday life. Whether in your wallet or on your smartphone - all functions of the rodgaucard are available with both the physical and the digital card. Many functions of the rodgaucard can even be used without registration. These include access to the lido, use as a reader card or collecting bonus points in local shops. However, registration is recommended. If a card is lost, it can be clearly assigned and blocked if necessary. However, registration is required for access to the recycling centre and the composting facility. Here, the residual waste bin number must be linked to the rodgaucard once, which is done as part of the registration process. There are several ways to register. Online via the website www.rodgaucard.de or via the offline registration form, which can be downloaded from the same website. Alternatively, printed forms are also available from the Rodgau City Council's citizen service centre or the customer service department of Stadtwerke Rodgau. Irrespective of this, use remains flexible. Even after registration, the rodgaucard can still be used either physically or digitally via the RodauApp. With the rodgaucard, the city of Rodgau bundles numerous offers on one card and strengthens local trade at the same time.
